During my time here, I visited the nearby Jardin des Plantes de Poitiers, which was a lovely escape. I was particularly impressed when the staff went the extra mile to help retrieve a toy my family left behind. It's the little things that make a difference!

Location-wise, it’s a bit of a drag—surrounded by nothing worth seeing, so you'll definitely need a car if you want to explore. On top of that, the pool wasn’t open, and it looked like it needed a good clean even when it was operating hours. I also encountered some noise disturbances from fellow travelers and nearby refuse collection trucks starting up at dawn.
